Company BASK has designed its own ‘soft shell’ line of outdoor clothing.
This work was done by request and in cooperation with the leading Russian climbers and professional athletes. ‘Soft shell’ garments are ideal for active work in extreme conditions: they are very light, functional and well-packable.
This new style of outdoor clothing finds its clientele in Russia. ‘Soft shell’ is designed for alpine-style climbs, multi-pitch ice-climbing, ski-tour, canyoning, X-races and other extreme sports.
Soft shell is distinguished for its best insulating properties with minimal weight and volume. These perfect characteristics were achieved by using a smart composition of synthetic Thinsulate 3M® insulation (which preserves its properties even in high humidity), multi-fiber Tactel (DuPont) and Nylon-66 (Pertex) fabrics.
This clothing fits wide temperature range: from –25 to +100C. We hope that an ample cut of sleeves, lightweight wind skirt (‘Davos’), special design of inner and outer pockets, convenient hood-adjusting system (‘Cerro Torre’) and many other advanced and original features will content our clients. Soft shell complies with demands of the persons who are seriously engaged in outdoor activity and extreme sports.
