First lap of `Bask Adventure Race – Ural’ will start on the 28th of February. Breathtaking adventures and exciting entertainments – all these you’ll find at this really extreme race! Survival and extreme competitions become more and more popular in our extreme country.
3-lap Bask Adventure Race – 2003 is organized by Ural Adventure TV-studio UB-2. It should be the foremost event in Russian extreme sport society.
As it’s easy to guess from the title, exactly BASK is a general sponsor of the competition. First lap of it will take place near Ural town Sysert, which is 30 km north of Ekaterinburg.
Neither storm nor famous Siberian frost are able to hinder the race. It should start exactly in 10 am on the first of March. Rules are unambiguous -– the event should take place in any weather. It will be a 24-hours non-stop race. Teams should be able not only to run or swim, but to orientate according to a map or a legend perfectly and even to climb.
11 `crazy’ teams (duos) have registered to the date. It makes 19 guys and two girls (one place is still vacant) who are ready to run, swim, bike, ski, ride and climb all day round in hope to overrun their rivals on a 100 kilometers distance. Of course, such a hard adventure would not be possible without BASK equipment.
