06.10.2003:King of the Three Poles dies on Shisha Pangma expedition The names of the two climbers from the French Shisha Pangma expedition who died tragically in an avalanche on a nearby acclimatization peak have been released – Philippe Renard and Antoine de Choudens.
GMHM group during this expedition was testing equipment provided to it by BASK and was due to come with some feedback on BASK products.
22.09.2003:Valery Babanov and Yuri Koshelenko. Exclusive interview Valery Babanov is challenging a forbidding mount Nuptse East (7804 m) for the third time. This time his partner is a famous Rostov climber Yuri Koshelenko. Their expedition started on the 13th of September. They took a flight from Dakka to Nepal, where they plan to stay till early November.
